Our Vision

An inclusive and equitable world where persons with disabilities, especially young people, are empowered to lead, participate, and contribute meaningfully to sustainable development.

Our Mission

The Working Group on Disabilities and 2030 Agenda works to advance the rights, inclusion, leadership, and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We amplify the voices and lived experiences of persons with disabilities, strengthen youth leadership, promote accessibility and inclusion, and advocate for disability-responsive policies and programs. We also work across areas including disability rights, SRHR, gender equality, climate action, education, and meaningful participation.

Our Commitment

We believe that persons with disabilities are rights-holders, leaders, advocates, and agents of change – not merely beneficiaries of development.

Guided by the principle of “Nothing About Us Without Us,” we are committed to ensuring that persons with disabilities are heard, represented, and meaningfully included in decisions and actions that affect their lives and in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
